The project site is in an area where mostly residential houses are located in the Çayyolu district. The site has a sloping topography. All data of the project area is evaluated to create the most efficient design. In the building, as a part of educational process, designs are created to encourage children’s play and exploration.

Passive design strategies, one of the important element of sustainable architecture, are used in the design process. Space functions are grouped and each group is designed as a separate mass. The heights of these masses are varied. Different size of windows on each facade, and skylights on the roof of the circulation corridor are designed. Thus, an expressive solution is presented in the design architecturally; as well as providing the physical properties to aid passive ventilation and cooling.
