Örmeci Architecture participated in a natural stone design competition with a design proposal for the reuse of waste natural stones.

The Istanbul Mineral Exporters’ Association, with the support of the Ministry of Trade of the Republic of Turkey, organized the 11th Industrial and Architectural Natural Stone Design Competition. The competition aimed to emphasize the value and importance of design in the Turkish natural stone sector, encourage its use, support creative ideas, and contribute to the building culture and education. The Örmeci Architects team participated in the competition with a sustainable design proposal that aimed to prevent natural stone waste from being classified as waste and promote the reuse of natural stone in spaces.
