Örmeci Architects is contributing to research in the field of building science
The current research of Örmeci Architects team, “The Use of Microalgae in the Built Environment,” was presented at the V. Building Congress in the Innovative Materials category. The published articles also received presentation awards at the congress.
Microalgae have the potential to be a solution to problems such as depletion of current energy sources and environmental pollution. Thanks to their unique characteristics, they can provide multifaceted benefits to the built environment, such as reducing carbon emissions, improving indoor air quality, treating wastewater, providing lighting, and serving as a source of biofuel feedstock.
